Why I Joined PaperPie?
I joined PaperPie in February 2019. I had been invited to a book party by my friend. It was also my first exposure to the company. I went to the party and instantly fell in love with the books before I even saw or owned one in person. That next day, I joined the company. The first PaperPie books I ever owned came in my consultant starter kit.
I was drawn to PaperPie for many reasons. These books were bright, fun, engaging and educational. They have a special touch that really draws you in! As a child I struggled with a learning disability in school. So I knew instantly when I saw these books that they would have been game changers for me as a struggling student. I knew I needed these books in my home for my own kid's education. Plus I knew these books would be so helpful to my clients with special needs.
After I left my career to help my daughter with her special needs care; I deeply missed the connections I had made with the families and children. I loved working with children, and I always played a huge part in promoting literacy with my previous jobs. I was always the "book girl" who was doing something incorporated with reading every day. I ran reading groups, lead circle time, used books to help teach kids how to read, and I brought in totes of books from the library each day to share with everyone.
For the longest time, I had dreamt of owning my bookstore and becoming a school librarian too. I already had a passion for spreading literacy, loved sharing children’s books with people and would often be spotted at famous children's authors book signings. I figured why not make a business out of my passions and combine all the things I love? So, I did! My book business was then born, and I created what is known today as Kayla's Enchanted Bookshelf.

Q&A Joining My Team
How do I get started?
Decide and choose a starter kit! The mini consultant kit which is $59 or you can get the large consultant kit for $99. Once you pick your kit then you will follow my tips, tricks and tools for success! I'll be your biggest cheerleader and support you 100% along the way with your book business!
How does this all work?
Consultants earn 25% commission with every book sold! We also have sweet opportunities to earn free & half price books as consultants too.
Is inventory ever required?
Nope! You are not required to have any inventory in your home in order to sell PaperPie products. Your customers order directly from your e-commerce website and then our company ships directly from our headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma to them.
Are there any monthly sales requirements?
One of the biggest perks for me and why I said YES to joining PaperPie is there are no monthly requirements, minimums, purchase requirements or sales quotas for us to meet as Independent Consultants. That takes a lot of pressure off selling which for me is a huge deal!
How flexible is this business?
I love that our company gives us total flexibility and freedom with our own businesses! This flexibility also allows us to choose our own hours to work and decide how often we want to work too.

How often do new books get released?
Usborne Books & More has 4 major releases of New Titles every year. This helps keeps things fresh and exciting for your customers!
Where do the books come from?
Once an order is placed, books are shipped directly to them from our warehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
